Our Mission

GOODFOOD4U aims to provide those in need with the means to exercise their right to a point of access for healthy, ethically sourced food.

Through this work, our mission is to reimagine the idea of food as an inaccessible, unaffordable means to an end of survival. GOODFOOD4U provides a collaborative and remedial connection to communities of all backgrounds in order to build a sustainable food system. We hope to spark the hearts and minds of those burdened by food and economic injustices to change the conversation of food as a commodity rather than a means of healing.

Using both local and ethical sources, our food truck prioritizes our travel to Mattapan, Roxbury, Dorchester, and East Boston.  It is our aspiration to restore the relationship between the areas of Boston most impacted by food insecurity and the food systems in the city to provide you and your families freshly home-cooked meals.

Three times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays), residents will be able to choose a timeslot pertaining to the meal they would like to collect for themselves and/or their families. This will be implemented through a system in which the resident’s name and number of household members would be used to verify that everyone is met with no more or no less than what they need.
